At the tennis centre, guests will discover there to be no official strict dress code. Even though there are no strict rules, players must abide by the following guidelines. Appropriate sportswear must be worn along with flat soled tennis shoes. These dress code requirements are for both the tennis academy and for court hire during your tennis break. Please be aware that any other clothing including swimwear is forbidden.
Individual coaching may be booked and arranged prior to your tennis break departure, or whilst you are at La Manga Club. Individual tuition lessons last 45 minutes where you are given one to one professional tennis coaching. If you wish to continue with your private lessons, the coach is able to design a tailor made programme depending on your requirements. You are not required to have any minimum standards of tennis experience to participate as both private tuition and tournaments are open for everyone. If you wish to play within a tennis tournament during your tennis break, you will be paired up with players of similar skill.
If you are an experience tennis player or simply wish to bring your own tennis equipment, you may do so without any problems. Simply bring your tennis racquet and other equipment to your booked tennis options and begin play. Those who have not got tennis equipment or do not wish to bring their own can hire and purchase all tennis attire from the tennis pro shop on site.
The tennis Academy is able to provide tuition facilities of the highest standard during your tennis break. The knowledge and insight of our dedicated tennis professionals allows all participants to train and learn all aspects to tennis. If you enter the academy you will be assessed and split into groups of similar experience. The more advanced players have the opportunity to enter the tennis Pro Academy; this option is perfect for those who wish to achieve a professional level. The 25 hour training programme tactically improves participants physically with a more technical approach and mental strength. This is required for players to be able to turn a game around to their favour.
