The Tennis Centre with computer assisted tennis teaching systems is located behind La Plaza, with easy access on foot or by car. You can find 28 floodlit courts consisting of 20 clay courts, 4 hard courts and four artificial grass courts. The tennis centre also provides guests with the excellent Tennis Academy, 2 Paddle tennis courts, a practice wall, 2 squash courts, a bowling green, spa (jacuzzi and sauna), gym, beauty salon and a swimming pool.
However, private tennis lessons for groups or individuals can be organised. If you prefer the benefits and exclusivity of private personal coaching or you are unable to take part in the full academy programmes, then this is the perfect choice to make. Set up in blocks of 45 minutes in length, you are able to either have a single lesson or the tennis professional can design a tailor made tennis programme that is built and adapted to your specific requirements. You will receive all the guidance and coaching necessary to take your game to the next level.
Whether you are an individual that happens to be on holiday at La Manga Club or a group of tennis players, the tennis centre is able to provide adequate tennis coaching from professionals. Each private tennis lesson is for a 45 minute period which you can have on a one to one basis or you can have a maximum of 2 people on each lesson. Group and private coaching sessions are for all ages and standards of player, whether individual, groups, teams or clubs. Whether youre a complete beginner, a keen amateur or an up-and-coming club player, La Manga Club Tennis Academy will help you brush up your strokes in no time!
All academy courses and coaching programmes are supervised by Director of
Coaching, Juan Ros. With extensive experience in coaching, Juan has the ability of tennis tuition up to the highest level. Working as a personal coach to players of the calibre of Conchita Martinez (Spanish no.1 and one of the top 20 in the world in the singles and doubles game), Anna Lena Groenefeld (Roland Garros Ladies Winner and Junior World no.1 in 2003), and Alina Jidkova (no.72 in the Womens World Ranking) amongst others.
The tennis centre is a popular choice for many; we recommend that all weekly academy courses are reserved at time of your holiday booking.
